The Mayor of Felanitx inaugurates the new town square and fountain in Bendinat´s latest project in Portocolom, Mallorca

Over 100 people attended a special ceremony to inaugurate the completion of the square and first phase of Bendinat´s new project in Portocolom.

Just two hours before the inauguration, all the lights went on in the new square, officially named Plaza Colom, and as the mayor unveiled the plaque in the square, the fountain was switched on.

The fountain is based on an ancient design used in Damascus in Syria, with water jets of different heights creating a beautiful effect.

Adolf de Coene, General Manager of the Bendinat Group gave a short presentation after which g enjoyed wines from Mallorca, a jazz band and cuisine from the Restaurant Colon, one of the best on the island.

Many local dignitaries, new owners in the project, members of the press, local businesses and potential clients were in attendance.

Portocolom project phase 1 nearing completion

The first phase of the Bendinat Group´s newest project in Portocolom is nearing completion. In July 2009 the handovers of the first apartments will take place.

The first phase comprises 34 units: 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and duplexes and 3 and 4 bedroom townhouses, some with a private lift from the basement. There are also 9 commercial units in the first phase which give onto a large plaza, which is currently being dotted with trees around its centrepiece: a beautiful fountain. In July we will inaugurate the fountain and invite clients, business partners and friends to attend the party. Watch this space!

Sa Vinyeta Open Day

In May 2009 an Open Day was held in Bendinat and over 80 agents from the Island´s top real estate agents attended, as well as owners and members of the press. Drinks and canapes were served and all had the opportunity to visit the four remaining apartments as well as a resale penthouse with superb views of the Bay of Palma.
